Мощно , подумалось мне . Подходящие задачи для VMWare ESX … И решил поискать более , скажем так , подходящее для такого продукта , результаты тестирования . Нашел довольно быстро – http://blogs.sun.com/jenswagener/resource/AMD_Competitive_Perform_Analysist.pdf – Performance comparision made on behalf of AMD. So use a grain of salt, but it´s still very intersting ( ссылку взял здесь – http://www.c0t0d0s0.org/archives/3756-links-for-2007-11-18.html ) . Эти тесты показались мне более подходящими для ESX :

throughput to be measured.
Ну и результаты весьма интересные . Читайте , делайте выводы сами – и не тестируйте WinRAR’ом ваши фермы за десятки тысяч долларов 
ЗЫ: читаем документ , но не забываем – это не совсем чистый тест , он заказной ( даже не скрывают , собственно ) .
